Heading the Schools Program is Ms. J. Simoes, the Principal of Wisdom World School, Wakad, Pune. Ms. Simoes joined Wisdom World with her 24-year experience at St. Mary’s School, Pune. She was the Vice Principal of St. Mary’s School, Boys’ Section, Pune from 1993 to March 2006. Thereafter she led St. Mary’s School (ICSE) and Junior College (ISC) as the Principal. She was conferred with the National Award for Teachers by the President of India, Dr.Pranab Mukherjee, on September 5th 2014. She is also the recipient of the Derozio Award – which is the highest honour in the CISCE for exceptional contributions to the field of Education. Wisdom World School boasts a strong academic faculty under the able guidance of Ms. Simoes.
Admissions are made against vacancies that may arise at the end of the academic year.
The child's latest School report must be submitted along with the Application Form. If the Report is very good and the child is from an ICSE School, they may not need to take an entrance test.
Students who join the School in Class 1 or above will need to submit a Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
The average class has approximately 40 students on roll.
The School is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination and prepares students for the ICSE Examination (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education). English (Language and Literature), is given the greatest weightage in the curriculum.
The following subjects are offered as part of the I.C.S.E.
